Life-changing week. From an exciting & productive start to a dreadful & tearful end.

We are thankful to Georgia Institute of Technology for this incredible opportunity and are ecstatic for & proud of our Isaiah! Also, we lucked out with Isaiah & roommate Parker choosing one another (met via school social media)! They have similar majors, interests, & hobbies and come from families that adore them.

Biggest of thanks to Jess for planning everything & to Aunty Kristi for being her always helpful, generous, fun-loving, & kind self throughout the entire week plus a dear shoulder to cry on when saying goodbye. Invaluable thanks to our wonderful neighbors Eylin & Lionel for taking such great care of Luna & Roman twice daily all the way through.

Wishing our Isaiah the very best in his new beginning <3

Isaiah was a 100 mph baby & toddler. Now, with his teen years in the rearview mirror, we can say that Isaiah was the easiest teenager to raise. School was self-managed, chores were friendly reminders, & teen rebellion did not happen.

We are relieved & pleased that Isaiah had a safe & successful Freshman Year. We’re so proud of him that he went to a school in a state having known no one. Isaiah absolutely lucked out with now-family roommate Parker & they’ll again be roommates next school year. Parker did an internship during this Spring with Isaiah having their dorm room to himself. Isaiah missed Parker but he did return from Alabama a few times to hang out. Isaiah’s studies went well & also did well having joined a supersonics club. Plus, he began working as a computer science teaching assistant. Attending home football games was all-time & in only their second game stormed the field! Fall foliage & riding in the self-driving Waymo were other firsts. Isaiah & friends went to Six Flags, saw Laufey & the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena, Baby Keem at Coca-Cola Roxy, & Bruno Mars on campus at their Bobby Dodd Stadium. Not to mention going to eateries on campus, including Moe’s every Monday, & in Atlanta. Isaiah was visited by fellow Pun Aiden from his Purdue for a day & hosted fellow Pun Andrew over his NYU Spring Break. Isaiah’s girlfriend Mia & her mom Aunty Lorelei visited from home with the three going on a college tour nearby for Mia & they also enjoyed his campus & the city. Isaiah also traveled to Louisiana in spending a weekend at the Aguilera’s home & met Jess in Tennessee for a day. Lastly, Isaiah was able to go home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, & Spring Break. We are beyond grateful to Georgia Tech & beyond thrilled that he is home for Summer! Happy Summer, everyone!

Video  Video  Video  Isaiah’s Freshman Year of Georgia Tech Football

Isaiah & his now-family roommate Parker were season ticket holders this Freshman year. In only their 2nd game, whited out Georgia Tech stormed the field following their clock-expiring 55-yard field goal over then-8th ranked Clemson (2nd video!)! Goal post parts were then paraded around campus! What an unforgettable all-time season having attended Bobby Dodd & having watched down-to-the-wire showdowns vs. then-4th ranked Georgia & current-12th ranked BYU both at home. We cannot be happier for Isaiah now having a team to cheer for for his lifetime. We are so, so thankful for Georgia Tech.
